Asr prayer but not yet zhuhur prayers

QUESTION:

Afwan Ustadz, there is a question again

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullah.
Afwan Ustadz wants to ask that there is an incident, when praying in congregation, Makmum is wrong, which should be the midday prayer but he intends to pray Asr because he accidentally/forgot, then in the midst of prayer he realized that the prayers carried out were the midday prayer. But he finished the congregational prayer with the Imam to the end. The question is whether his prayer is legitimate or have to repeat the cleric? (+62 813-3434-xxxx)

ANSWER

Wa’alaikumussalam wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh

– If he hasn’t prayed for noon, but he intends to pray asr, even though he later knows that he has not prayed for noon, then it is not allowed. Because, it should not be an asr prayer even though the midday prayer has not been carried out, because Allah Ta’ala reduces the obligation of prayer according to its order.

Different cases if the prayer with the priest who is praying asr, and we are with him with the intention of the midday prayer because we are not yet zuhur, that’s okay. Then we wake up immediately doing the asr.

Shaykh Abu Bakar bin Jabir Al Jazaairiyah Rahimahullah said about prayer:

He mentioned the previous prayer, as if entering the afternoon and mentioned that he did not pray for his back, because that afternoon was canceled until he prayed the back, because the arrangement between five prayers was worn for his arrangement on the road.

Remembering the previous prayer when he entered the Asr prayer, but he remembered not yet the midday prayer. So the asr prayer is canceled until he prayed for the midday prayer first. Because, sequential between prayer 5 is mandatory because God brings it like that, one obligation with other obligations in sequence. So, do not pray if you haven’t prayed before. (Minhajul Muslim, p. 157)

– If the case is plural ta’khir, which is done at the time of Asr, we in congregation with the group who are also plural, then do it in the order, the zuhr first then Asr.

But, if in congregation with the locals, who are praying asr, then follow the Asr prayer first, then zuhr.

Instead, he made the priest trust him, so don’t disagree with him.
