Readers, may Allah bless you, Islam is the perfect religion because it has explained various aspects of human life, including the nature and sexual tendencies of a person towards the opposite sex. Among the phenomena that have occurred recently is the re-emergence of the Prophet Luth or LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) people in society. The scholars Ahlussunnah wal jama’ah have studied this matter based on the arguments of the Qur’an and As-Sunnah in their books.
Therefore, this article is intended to discuss the law and the impact of this deviant behavior (Again) with a concise but scientific discussion from an Islamic religious perspective.
Human nature in the Islamic view
Islam has emphasized that humans were created with a straight nature, namely liking the opposite sex. Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala has said,
So straighten your face towards religion. God created what He created man. There is no change in God’s creation. That’s his religion. Valuable, but most people don’t know it
“So straighten your face to the religion of Allah; (remain in) the nature of God who has created humans according to that nature. There is no change in the nature of God. (That is) a straight religion; but most people do not know.” (QS. Ar-Rum: 30)
Allah Drug also said,
And of everything We created two pairs, so that you may remember.
“And We created everything in pairs so that you may remember the greatness of Allah.” (QS. Adz-Dzariyat : 49)
In another verse, God Subhanahu Ta’ala also emphasized,
And He created two couples, male and female.
“And that He created the male and female pair.” (QS. An-Najm: 45)
These verses confirm that Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala has created humans in their original condition who have straight natural tendencies, namely the attraction of men to women and vice versa; and of course through a legal marriage.
Homosexuality in Islamic views
Homosexual or same-sex behavior (Again) is an act of sin and immorality, even a major sin. This is clearly stated in the story of Prophet Lut ‘alaihissalam in the Koran. Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla said,
And Lot when he said to his people, “Have you committed an immoral act that no one in the world has done before you? Surely you come to men with lust.” Rather than women. On the contrary, you are wasteful people.
“And (We have also sent) Lot (to his people). (Remember) when he said to them, ‘Why did you commit that adultery, which no one in this world has ever committed before you? (QS. Al-A’raf : 80–81)
This verse shows that homosexual acts are acts fahisyah or extremely heinous acts, even including wastenamely actions that exceed limits because they are outside the nature that Allah has set ‘Azza wa Jalla arrange.
Due from the severity of this sin, because of the act of exceeding the limit, Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla imposed very severe punishments on them. Allah Drug said,
Then when Our command came, We made rulers over it and sent down crushed shale stones upon it.
“Then when Our punishment came, We turned the land of Lut’s people upside down (We turned it upside down), and We rained stones on them from burning in rushing water.” (QS. Hud: 82)
The scholars emphasized that the severity of the punishment that Allah has imposed ‘Azza wa Jalla The suffering of the people of Sodom shows the magnitude of their sin, it is even said that their sin is greater and more serious than adultery.
Mentioned in the book al-Mausu’ah al-Fiqhiyyah: For legal expert agree that Again It is haram, because it is one of the gravest evil acts. Allah Drug has denounced him in his noble Book and denounced the perpetrators as mentioned in the verse.

Punishment of homosexual offenders
As the Prophet said sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam,
May God curse anyone who commits the actions of Luth’s people
“Allah curses those who carry out the deeds of Luth’s people.” (HR. Ahmad no. 2915; declared authentic by the ulama)
And in another history, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
Whoever you find committing the actions of Lut’s people, kill the subject and object.
“Whoever you find doing the deeds of Lut’s people, kill the perpetrator and his object.” (HR. Abu Dawud no. 4462, Tirmidhi no. 1456; considered valid by some scholars)
This hadith shows that this act is one of the major sins. Scholars differ in their opinions regarding the details of the punishment, but they agree that homosexuality is a haram act and a major sin, even Allah and His Messenger cursed their actions.
The impact of homosexual behavior on individuals and society
From this explanation, in the view of Islamic law, the prohibition on homosexuality is not only due to moral aspects, but also because it can cause the following impacts:
Destroys the nature and structure of the family
Islam really protects the integrity of a servant’s nature, including looking after his offspring (hifzhun nasl). Same-sex behavior can actually prevent the birth of children and also damage the system of order in the family.
Opening the door to social destruction
Prophet Lut’s people not only practiced homosexuality, but also damaged the morals of society at large.
Inviting God’s wrath if legalized and normalized in society
However, it needs to be emphasized that Islam does not condone acts of injustice, persecution or violence without rights. Law enforcement is the authority of the government which is legitimate and has authority, not certain individuals or mass organizations.
How does a Muslim behave?
The correct attitude according to Islamic law is:
- Believing that the act is illegal based on valid evidence.
- Not allowing or legalizing it.
- Continue to act fairly and not tyrannize individual perpetrators.
- Pray that the perpetrator will be given guidance and repent.
Is the door of repentance still open for the perpetrator?
As long as the perpetrator is willing to repent before death and the following conditions are met:
- Regret his actions.
- Stop doing these actions.
- Determined not to repeat it.
- If the sin is related to the right of sacrifice, then it must be accompanied by the return of that right;
then there is still a chance Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala forgive him. Because of God Drug has said,
Say, “O My servants who commit disobedience against themselves, do not despair of Allah’s mercy. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.” Indeed, He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful
“Say, ‘O My servants who commit disobedience against themselves, do not despair of Allah’s mercy. Indeed, He is Forgiving, Most Merciful.'” (QS. Az-Zumar: 53)
And in another verse, God ‘Azza wa Jalla also emphasized,
Allah loves those who repent and loves those who are pure.
“Indeed, Allah loves those who repent and loves those who purify themselves.” (QS. Al-Baqarah: 222)
Cover
Islam considers homosexual behavior to be haram and a major sin based on the arguments in the Koran, As-Sunnah, and the consensus of the ulama. The story of Prophet Lut’s people is a harsh reminder of the consequences and impacts of this deviation.
However, Islam is a religion full of grace. He differentiates between actions and perpetrators. Every human being has the potential to make mistakes, but the door to repentance is always open. A Muslim is required to maintain the beliefs and principles of the Shari’a, while at the same time displaying morals that are just and full of wisdom in viewing the perpetrator and his sins.
God willing Subhanahu Ta’ala keep Muslims in a straight line and provide guidance to anyone who seeks the truth.
Wallahu a’lam bishawaab.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
