The name of Allah “Al-Jabbar”
Number Al-Jabbar mentioned in the Qur’an in the following verse,
Dear Great Great
“Maharapkasa, the Almighty, who has all the greatness.” (Surah Al-Hasyr: 23)
This verse shows clearly among the names of the names of beautiful God (Al-Assasā` al-ḥusnā) is Al-Jabbar. [1]

Arabs also said,
And I like it (and forcing it) for this
The meaning is “I forced him to something with pressure and strength.” [4]
Ibnul Qayyim Rahimahullah Explain the meaning Al-Jabr Language, which includes three main roots:
1) Give adequacy to the poor, or connect broken bones – this is related to its meaning improvement and affection.
2) coercion and strength – most often used in the form of verbs Space (like Ajbarthuh = I forced him).
3) Height and glory, such as expressions: Nakhla Jabbārah (very tall date palm trees). [5]
Meaning “Al-Jabbar” In the context of God
Ibn Kathir Rahimahullah In interpreting the verses of Surah Al-Hasyr 23, he brought the Speech of Qotadah and IBN Rahimahumallaah. He said,
Qatada said: Al -Jabar: the person who was forced to create what he wanted
Ibn Jarir said: Al -Jabar: The reformist is the problem of his creation, the person in it is what they have in it.
“Qatadah said, ‘Al-Jabbār It was the Essence that forced his creatures to carry out what he wanted. ‘
Ibn Jarir said, ‘Al-Jabbār This is the Essence that enhances the affairs of its creatures and regulates it with everything that contains them. ‘” [6]
Ash-Shaykh Abdurrahman bin Nashir As-Si’diy said,
Al -Jabbar is the highest meaning of the highest, and in the sense of conquest, and in a mighty and heart -minded sense of a broken heart, for the weak and helpless, and for those who have been in it and use it
“Al-Jabbar“It means it’s high, and also the mighty (the mightyAl-Qahhār), and also means lovers who heal a broken heart, help the weak and helpless, and is a place for shelter for anyone who relies on him. ” [7]
In conclusion, Ash-Shaykh Muhammad An-Najdiy Hafidzahullah gather all of these meanings. Thus, the meaning of al-Jabbār includes several sides:
First: Al-Jabbar is a high-highlighted essence above His creatures, and this comes from the form of the word Mubalaghah (Fa”āl) which shows a very large and tall meaning.
Second: Al-Jabbar is the Essence that improves all matters, as in the word Jabara Al-Kasr (fixing broken bones) or Jabara Al-Faqīr (helping the poor until sufficient).
Third: Al-Jabbar It is the Essence that forces His creatures in accordance with His will, both in the form of commands and prohibitions. As the word of God Story For his prophet,
And what you together is a map
“And you are not someone who can force them.“(Surah Qāf: 45)
In other words, you are not burdened with the task to force them to receive guidance.
From this explanation, then the first meaning (Al-Jabbar: Highest) including nature Dzatiyah. While the second and third meaning (Al-Jabbar: Which increases and forces) including the nature of the action (Vership). [8]

Prophet Lallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam Usually pray between two prostrations by saying,

“O Allah, forgive me, my grace, fix (closing my shortcomings), take my title, and give me fortune.“(HR. Ibn Majah no. 898 and read by al-Albani)
In that prayer, he mentioned that word “Wajburnī” (I fix me), which is a call with the name Al-Jabbar. Ibnul Atsir explained that the meaning was, “Enough me.”
Prophet Lallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam Also glorifying the Rabb with this name in prayer, especially when bowing and prostration. In the hadith of ‘Auf bin Mālik al-Ashja’i Radhiyallahu ‘anhuHe mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray in bowing,
Glory for Gabrot and Royal; And the great and great
“Most Holy Essence that has Al-Nabarut (absolute power), Al-Malac (government), al-kbriyā ‘ (Great), and Al-‘Aẓamah (greatness). “(HR. Abu Dawud no. 873 and An-Nasa’i 2: 223; Hasan)

Imam Ahmad and At-Tirmidzi Narrated from Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu ‘anhuthat the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam say,
The neck comes out of the fire on the day of resurrection, with two eyes who saw them, and two ears heard about them, and the tongue he said, and he said: I had been entrusted with three: with all the mighty stubbornness, and all those who claimed with God were other gods, and the photographers
“It will come out of the neck of hell on the Day of Judgment, which has two eyes that can see, two ears that can hear, and oral that can speak. He said, ‘I was assigned to catch three groups: Every person who was arrogant again stubborn, everyone who associated God with other gods, and the drawers of the drawings (souls).” (HR. Ahmad, 2: 336 and Tirmidzi no. 2574, defined by al-Albani)
We seek protection against God from hellfire, from wrath Al-JabbarAnd from bad morals, misleading lust, and destroying heart disease. Indeed, he is all who hear prayer. [11]
