Purpose of Hajj (Bag. 2)

Second Purpose: Get great luck in the form of God’s pleasure and survivors from hell

Among the goals of pilgrimage is a great wealth thanks to God, safe from the fire of hell, and also to seek forgiveness and compassion. Many arguments show about this. Among them are the Word of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam,

Anyone who performs the pilgrimage to God, he is not damaging and not immoral, he will return his mother’s day, his mother

“Anyone who is learning about God, then does not do rafat and does not do it, then he returns to his country as he was born. ” (HR. Bukhari and Muslim)

Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam Also say,

And the true pilgrimage does not have a prize except heaven

“And Hajj Mabrur, there is no appropriate reply to him other than heaven.“(HR. Bukhari and Muslim)

Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam Also say,

As for you, Islam is guided by what was before, and that migration threatened what was before, and that pilgrims were not the same

“Do you know that Islam eliminates past sins? And that Hijrah also eliminated past sins? And Hajj also eliminates past sins?“(HR. Muslim no. 121)

Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam Also say,

Follow the pilgrimage and umrah, because they deny poverty and sin, as goodness that deny the scourge of unnecessary people, gold, and flame except heaven except except

“Follow Umrah to the Hajj, because both of them eliminate poverty and sins as burning eliminates rust on iron, gold and silver. And there is no reward for Hajj that is mabrur, except heaven. “(Jam An-Nasa’i no. 2631 and Tirmidzi no. 810, Hasan)

Luck with the pleasure of God is a very great and noble favors. Allah Story FRIMAN,

And people believe and people believe, some of them are the first of them ۚ they are ordered by the famous zakat and obey God and their messengers ۚ or those who will be compassionate to them, God, because God is love, wise, and good people from a long heaven from which he goes, where there is good and good time in a long time in the paradise. “And people believe, men and women, some of them are other people’s assistants. They ordered (doing) ma’ruf, preventing it from mastery, establishing prayers, doing zakat, and obeying God and his messengers. They will be given grace by God; Indeed, God is all -large, all -inarm. God promised to believe, men and women, (will accept) heaven under the river, they remain in it, and (find) good places in ‘ADN. And God’s will be greater; That is a great luck.“(QS. At-Taubah: 71-72)

Allah mentioned the first time their deeds in the form of obedience to Allah and His Messenger, fulfill obligations in Islam, then Allah mentioned what Allah promised to them. Starting with the mention that God promised to those heaven that flowed under the rivers, then mentioned a great residence and a high room that God provided for them as their residence in heaven; Then the great glory and great favors, namely luck by getting His pleasure. Allah is sending, (And those who are more than God are bigger) (And the heart of God is greater); Then Allah closed this verse by mentioning, (That’s great) (It is a big luck).

In God’s Word (And those who are more than God are bigger) There is an explanation of the greatness and glory of God’s heart, and this is the biggest assistance of all the best and most noble gifts. God’s voice is the attribute of God, while heaven and all the help and gifts contained therein are creatures among the creatures of God. Thus, God’s will is greater than all the pleasures, greater than heaven and all the pleasures he contains, because it is the biggest gift and the biggest assistance.

This is more clarified in a hadith, the Prophet Slowah ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam say,

God bless you and the Almighty say to the people of heaven: O people of heaven, and they say: your Lord, God and your happiness, say: Are you satisfying? They said: what we did not accept and have given us what you did not give to one of your creations? He said: I gave you better than that, they said: O Lord, and anything better than that? He said: I will be happy with you, so I will never be planned

“Indeed, Allah Tabaraka wa Ta’ala said to the people in heaven, “o The people of heaven.” So they answered, “I fulfill your call, our Lord with happiness.” So God said, “Are you satisfied?” So they answered, “How are we dissatisfied, when you have given us something you have never given to your creatures.” So God said, “I give you all the most important (heaven).” They said, “O my Lord, is something more important than that?” So God said, “I give all my heart, I will not be up to you forever.” (HR. Bukhari and Muslim)

Al-Hakim also tells Mustadr-He is with sanad Sahih From Jabir bin ‘Abdillah Radhiyallahu ‘anhuma, That the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam say,

If people in heaven enter heaven, God Almighty says: You want something and increase you? They say: O our Lord, and what is better than what you give us! He said: Radwani is bigger

“If the inhabitants of heaven have entered heaven, Allah Ta’ala said,” Do you want something I can add to you? “They asked,” Our God, what is better than what you have given us? “God said,” My heart is bigger. “ (HR. Al-Hakim, 1: 146)

That is, God’s pleading is greater than heaven and its entire contents.

So every Muslim should make the purpose of this great pilgrimage in front of his eyes and present in his heart. He tried to fulfill his hajj to set To get God’s pleasure and forgiveness and liberation of hell. He also must be eager to bring his mind at all times and conditions, both during pilgrimage and on other occasions. Because of the meaning of this verse, when it comes to the heart of a servant, the condition will change for good and all his affairs will be good.

Third Purpose: Realizing God’s Fear

Among the purpose of pilgrimage is to realize God’s fear. In many verses, God explains about the will of piety, because in the pilgrimage pilgrimage will be a cause of piety that is not in other worship, of course by realizing the truth of pilgrimage and its meaning. Allah repeated many times about the fear of God in the context of the Hajj verses in Surah Al-Baqarah. God is in a man,

Afraid of God and know that God is the hardening of the punishment

“And fear God and know that God is very strong in His torture.“(Surah Al-Baqarah: 196)

Allah Story Also says,

And provide the best of piety and fear, O first door.

“Well, and indeed, the best of the inventory feared and feared me, O Wise.“(Surah Al-Baqarah: 197)

Allah Story Cover the Hajj verse in Surah Al-Baqarah with His Word,

Afraid of God, and know that you are grateful

“And fear God, and know that you will be gathered to Him.” (Surah Al-Baqarah: 203)

Allah said in the surah al-hajj,

Namely and anyone who glorifies God’s ritual, because they are the power of the heart

“So (God’s command). (Surah Al-Hajj: 32)

God also said,

God defends those who believe that God does not love every betrayal who does not believe

“Indeed, God defends those who believe. Indeed, Allah does not like all those who betray and do not obey the blessings.” (Surah Al-Hajj: 38)

Fear is a great will and a good supply for the afterlife. Fear is God’s will for all creatures from beginning to end, like God Story said,

Afraid of the fire prepared for infidels

“And keep yourself from hellfire, which is provided for people who do not believe.” (Surah An-Nisa ‘: 131)

Fear is the wishes of the nobles of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam For the people. When he sent the leaders of the war forces, he specialized in his fear and all Muslims. Fear is also the most advice he gave during preaching. When he preached in front of people in the pilgrimage WADA ‘ on Yaumun nahr, He intensified everyone to be afraid. Attic Salafus shalih Also always advising each other with piety. This is because piety is the best provision to get God’s pleasure.

When someone said to ‘Umar bin Al-Khaththab Radhiyallahu ‘anhu, “Fear God.” Then ‘Umar answered with a speech, “nothing is good for you if you don’t say it; and nothing is good for us without accepting it.” Salaf scores about the problem of piety are very much.

How beautiful when pilgrims returned from their Haj with this great and blessed supply, for God’s will about the fear of repeating the pilgrimage. God called for wise people to fear, this shows that for those who are wise -that God has blessed them to make a pilgrimage, to fear their greatest goals in their pilgrimage and to surrender their minds in carrying out worship worship to accept their devotion. Hajj is a great madrasa for piety and is the biggest preparation intended to get dedication, because in the practice of pilgrimage there are souls and tests for the soul to fulfill obedience to God and to return to worship to him.
