ANSWER

Wa’alaikumussalam wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh

According to Ibn Abi Al ‘Izz in Syarh Al’ Aqidah Ath Thahawiyah, the grave torture has two types:

1. The continuous punishment until the Day of Judgment.

This is for people who die in infidels. Argument:

Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala said:

We present them with livestock ۚ and day for the sake of ۗ ۗ ۤ ۤ ۤ ۤ ۤ ۗ ۗ ۗ ۗ ۗ ۗ ۗ ۗ

“For them it is displayed in hell, in the morning and evening, and * on the end. *
(Surah Ghafir 40: verse 46)

2. Adzab is cut off.

Namely for Muslims who are acting. He will be tortured according to his sin level. And the torture was cut off either because of his family’s prayers or other reasons.

One of the arguments, when the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam placed two dates in the two graves of its inhabitants – the words of the Prophet tortured; One of them is because of the name (sheep), the other because of falsehood. The Prophet said they were both light as long as the palms were not dry.

Thus. Wallahu a’lam
