Advice for those who are a problem

Fatwa Sheikh Muhammad Ali Farkus

Question:

Some of our brothers have problems with their families-both parents, uncles, aunts, and other relatives-from the side they fell into great shirk, such as praying to other than God, asking for help from Him, trusting to other than Him, denouncing God and His religion, and for example. They also do not want to accept advice. What is your advice to them? Keep in mind, this has caused great slander between these brothers and their families. Jazakumullahu khairan.

Answer:

All praise to God, God the universe. Greetings and greetings can be poured out to envoys sent as blessings to the whole world, to their family, friends, and followers until the day of judgment. But not.

People who do not believe who do a grand shirk deserve to be hated because of God and we leave ourselves (only’) from them absolutely without any sense of love or loyalty (There isn’t anything ‘). Reasons, Creed Al-Wala ‘Wal Bara’ (Loyalty and departure) is the strongest bond of faith, the foundation of Muslims, and the consequences and conditions of recognition. Allah Ta’ala said,

You do not find a place to live that they trust in God and the day, the last, who will support those who believe in God and his messengers, and if only their brothers or their adults

“You will not find believers in God and the hereafter to love those who oppose God and His messengers, even if they are parents, children, brothers, or their families.” (Surah Al-Mujadilah: 22)

The Prophet also said,

One of you did not believe until I love him from his father, his son, and the people are all

“Not perfect faith one of you until I love him more than his parents, his son, and all humans.” [1]

Allah also ordered his Prophet ﷺ to take from the bad deeds of his family if they did not obey his commands,

And warn your adults, and you reduce your wings to those who follow you from believers

“And give you a warning to your closest relatives, and ignore you to those who follow you from people -believers. If they don’t obey you, say, ‘Indeed I leave what you do.’ ‘ (Surah Asy-Syu’ara: 214-216)

However, leaving themselves from bad deeds that do not mean to hurt them with words or actions. A Muslim is still obliged to preach to his family in a good way, as God said,

So remember if you benefit your memory

“Therefore, give a warning if the warning is useful.” (Surah Al-A’la: 9)

It must also be devoted to both parents, even if they are Muslims, they cannot violate relationships, and even have to interact with them well in the world, based on God’s Word,

And if you guide you to share with you what you don’t have knowledge about you, don’t obey it and accompany it in this world

“And if both of them forced you to associate me with something that had no knowledge about it, then you should not obey both, and the rigging of both in the world well.” (QS. Luqman: 15)

The law of other relatives is the same as parents: must connect friendship, provide for a living, and do good, based on the generality of God’s Word,

And worship God, and don’t share it with Him, something, and with a valley, and you will be good

“Worship God and don’t hang out with him with anything. And do good for parents, relatives, orphans, and poor people.” (Surah An-Nisa: 36)

However, doing good for them cannot help their distrust and supporters, especially if they struggle against religion. This is illegal by syar’i and can foster distrust, as said,

And whoever takes care of you, then he comes from them

“Anyone of you makes them allies, he is among them.” (Surah Al-Maidah: 51)

In preaching, he must use a soft way and avoid violence that makes them run, according to his Word,

Call to your Lord’s way with rules and preaching

“Call (human) to your Lord with good wisdom and advice, and argue with them in the best way.” (QS. An-Nahl: 125)

The attitude of sermon like that is the key for the public to receive advice. Said the Prophet,

If God guides you, one of you is better for you to experience redness

“If God gives you guidance through you, only one person, it’s better for you than the red camel (the most expensive).” [2]

And knowledge (true) only exists before Allah Ta’ala. The closing of our prayers is praise to God, the Lord of the universe. May Allah bestow our Prophet Muhammad, his family, his friends, and his followers until the day of judgment. [3]
