Helping non -Muslim friends come to work at the Ribawi company

QUESTION:

Assalamualaikum Ustadz, if I have a non-Muslim friend, can I help him to enter the usury credit company because he needs work?

ANSWER

Wa’alaikumussalam wa rahmatullah

Don’t do that, because we are facilitators for others to do usury. It could be that their religion does not mind usury, but we are forbidden to be a cause ..

From Jabir Radhiallahu ‘anhu, that the Prophet ﷺ said:

God’s messenger, may God give him up and give him peace, condemn riba, his client, the author, and witnesses, and they say they are the same

The Messenger of Allah (may be friendly peace) condemned the laptop, who gave it, the recording, and two witnesses. He said: everything is the same. (HR. Muslim No. 1598)

Imam An Nawawi Rahimahullah explained:

This is a statement that prohibits writing loyalty between Majaqabis and their testimony, and is prohibited

This is an explanation of the prohibition of writing transactions between usury practitioners, also being witnesses, And in this hadith there is a prohibition on assistance. Wallahu a’lam. (Al Minhaj Syarh Sahih Muslim, 11/26)
