Is the additional sentence valid "Kullu Dhalatin fin Naar (Everyone Who Goes Astray is in Hell)?

This hadith was narrated by many mukharrijul hadith imams, from the path of Jabir bin Abdillah Radhiallahu ‘Anhu. Some of them are just greetings from friends, including:

– An Nasa’i, in his Sun no. 1578, from Jabir. Also in As Sunan Al Kubra no. 1799, and 5861, from Jabir as well

– Ibn Khuzaimah, in his Sahih, no. 1785, from the lineage of Jabir bin Abdillah

– Al Baihaqi, in Al Asma’ Shifat, no. 137, from Jabir. Now no. 413, Ibn Mas’ud’s speech

– Ibn Baththah, in Ibanah Al Kubra no. 198, words of Ibn Mas’ud. Also not. 1491, from Jabir

– Ibn Wadhah, in Al Bida’, no. 56, words from Umar

– Al Maruzi, in As Sunnah, no. 79, words of Ibn Mas’ud

– Al Firyabi, in Al Qadr no. 448, from Jabir route

– Al Ajurri, in Ash Syari’ah, no. 84 and 408, from Jabir

– Ath Thabarani, in Al Mu’jam Al Kabir no. 8521, Ibn Mas’ud’s speech

The additional status of the sentence is disputed as to its validity.

Authenticated by:

– Imam Ibn Khuzaimah, he included it in his Sahih book
– Imam Ash Shan’ani in At Tanwir
– and Sheikh Al Albani in several of his books.

Others use it. Imam Ibn Taymiyah has two opinions. He said that the sentence did not exist:

He did not say that every error goes to Hell

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never said that every mistake is hell” (Majmu’ Al Fatawa, 19/191)

But in Al Fatawa Al Kubra he said:

Narrated by Al-Nasa’i with an authentic chain of transmission and added: “Every innovation will go to Hell.”

Narrated by An Nasa’i with an authentic chain of transmission, and the addition of “every heresy in hell”. (Al Fatawa Al Kubra, 6/78)

Sheikh Ahmad Khalifah Sadiq said:

This increase is not normal, and abnormality is considered weak, as Al-Dhahabi said in Al-Mawqaha, and abnormality is of no benefit to be followed up and proven, as is known; Because it’s fundamentally wrong. Sheikh Muhammad Amr Abdel Latif Rahimahullah: “The worst is what is newly discovered, and every innovation is a mistake.” This is what is proven and preserved.

This addition (pronunciation) is syadz (odd/disagrees with a strong narrative), and the syadz hadith is included in the category of weak hadith as stated by adz-Dzahabi in al-Mauqiẓah. The history of shadz cannot be confirmed by mutaba’at and shawahid as is known, because in the beginning it was wrong.
