The problem of waqaf with money I discussed about three years ago.

The majority of scholars declared invalid, because the character of the waqaf is a treasure that remains its form and benefit. So that money and food is allowed, because the benefits are disappeared and the benefits are not lasting.
Except according to the early generation of Hanafiyah, Al Auza’i, and Imam Malik. They allow waqaf with food

The Waqaf Committee can receive the money, then converted into goods to buy land and that is what was treated in the name of Pewaqaf, and fulfilled the pillars (waqif, mauquf, mauquf ‘alaih, and promise), then valid.
But, the problem is not just fiqh waqaf. This is more on a sense of justice.
Islamic waqaf people are targeted, but why don’t they cut the salaries of officials who number thousands throughout the country? Give an example.
In the past, Imam An Nawawi rejected Raja Zahir’s policy, who asked for the signature of the scholars to agree to collect people’s funds for jihad fees, while the king and the palace did not exemplify the funding, even though if the palace wealth was collected for the jihad fees that were enough without having to ask the people who had been difficult.
Finally, Imam An Nawawi was expelled by King Zahir to Nawa, due to his strict attitude. The scholars who had already agreed to signing finally realized the truth of Imam An Nawawi, they followed the footsteps of Imam An Nawawi by pulling his signature. King Zahir seduced that Imam An Nawawi would return, but he refused, would not return as long as Zahir was still alive, finally one month later King Zahir died.
In addition, why is it always Muslim funds. Where are the other people’s funds?
These models often say the birth of this country is not only a service of one religion (Islam), as if the struggle and jihad of Muslims are just a fell branch … but it is the turn of the collapse, they are asking for money, blessings, and contributions of Muslims.
It is recommended that the Prophet Shalallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam warned him with a very spicy prayer:
Oh God, who is the guardian of this problem, my nation is the way that is with them, so he will realize it. And whoever makes it above it, he will be tired. Told by Muslims.
